lyrics
Her eyes they fill up when she talks of yesteryears
Her mouth it quivers as she searches for the words
Oh little darling baby, will you ever come to terms
Father knows you best & He cares for all your hurts
My hands they reach out, my heart fears my flesh
Who will come, who will come & save me
My heart it pours out, my life is in your hands
Will you come, will you come & take the pain away
She sits in a chair & pours out her heart
And watches her younger self roll across the floor
Her eyes they follow the length of the door
Wondering who'll come in & make it hurt even more
My hands they reach out, my heart fears my flesh
Who will come, who will come & save me
My heart it pours out, there's nothing left to say
Will you come, will you come & take the pain away
Will you come, will you come & take the pain away
My hands they reach out, my heart fears my flesh
Who will come, who will come & save me
My heart it pours out, my life is in your hands
Will you come, will you come & take the pain away
Will you come, will you come & take the pain away

The lyrics, vocals and music make me feel things. The sounds are evocative of a time gone by yet couldn't be more now. One of my favorite bands. amylynn11

When I first heard Mercury, I had a hard time getting past the change in sound. Then I saw the band in '98 near Chicago at a reunion show, and everything made sense. After that show, Mercury became one of my favorite records of all time. HUMB shows what Mercury was intended to be, and it's raw, aggressively mixed, without the "arena" feel that Mercury has. The record sounds ahead of its time, honestly, and is a must-own for any TPC fan. A rare definitive statement from a groundbreaking band. djzachlorton
